Daily Comp Set Dashboard
Use these graphs to see what drives market share among your competitors. Get here from anywhere using the Insight dropdown in the top menu.
Using the dashboard
Viewing these graphs for your comp sets is easy; choose your competitor set and the day you want to view data for on the left (steps 1 and 2). See below for a quick explanation of each graph set we present.
Each graph set represents a different set of data. Want to see the groups and events that make up the graph segments? Just click them! When you click, Insight instantly builds an advanced search you can peruse, save, or export. More information about exporting here.
- Daily Event Space % - Shows the event space used in your comp set from the previous day.
- Past 7 Days Event Space % - Shows the event space used in your comp set from the previous 7 days.
- Past 7 Days Comp Set Share - Shows an industry segment breakdown from your comp set events over the previous 7 days. This is broken down by Corporate, Association, Government, SMERF, Unclassified, and total events. Unclassified events are events that are not associated with an organization or group. These are mainly one-time events such as birthdays or weddings.
- Past Month Comp Set Share - Shows an industry segment breakdown from your comp set over the past month. Broken down by Corporate, Association, Government, SMERF, Unclassified, and total events.
Setting up automatic email delivery
For every comp set you have, you can have a dashboard email delivered on any day(s) of the week. View the dashboard for one of your comp sets and set delivery days on the right (step 3).
“You have no properties in this comp set.”
Whoops: The comp set you are trying to view dashboard data for is empty. More information about building your comp set here.
Certain days can’t be selected in the datepicker (step 2).
Insight only lets you choose days that the selected comp set has events. This ensures the Daily Event Space % graph section contains data.
The email is missing a graph collection.
If there are no events recorded for the previous day, that graph section is omitted.
